Nigel Drayson (Managing Director)

Nigel whose grandfather and father also served in the timber trade, worked for a large importer for several years, gaining experience in all aspects of the timber trade, before establishing his own company. Nigel has sound knowledge of sheet materials, softwoods and hardwoods and is responsible for ensuring that the stock held in the warehouse is of the highest quality, so that our customers benefit from a good choice of top quality products. Nigel also looks after sales enquiries, ably assisted by Phil Hallett and Jeremy Rawson.

Sue Carrington (Accounts and Office Admin)

Sue deals with account queries, wages, sales ledger and purchase ledger, as well as dealing with all VAT and tax matters.

Phil Hallett (General Manager)

Phil works mainly in the sales office, looking after invoicing, buying, sales enquiries and orders. He also helps to look after other aspects of the business such as the website, health and safety, vehicles, and training.

Oliver Rawson (Warehouse operative)

Oliver is responsible for serving customers, preparing deliveries and assisting Scott with any other warehouse duties. He also helps with loading our vehicles for deliveries, unloading deliveries from suppliers and takes care of the maintenance and operation of our circular saw.

Craig Shaw (HGV and Pickup driver)

As well as being our main HGV driver, Craig helps in the warehouse, preparing deliveries and serving customers when required.

Scott Firth (Warehouse Foreman)

Scott is responsible for organising the warehouse, preparing orders for delivery, monitoring stock levels and quality control. He also helps the warehouse staff in the serving of collection customers.

Daniel Salisbury (Warehouse Operative/Driver)

Daniel spends his time assisting collection customers, loading and unloading vehicles, preparing orders for delivery or collection and delivering on our light vehicle when required.

Richard 'BOY' Bedford (Warehouse operative)

Richard, our youngest member of staff, affectionately known as 'BOY', is learning the trade from scratch. He carries out various warehouse duties including preparing orders, serving customers and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy. He also assists Jeremy in the running and upkeep of the shop, ordering stock in Jeremy's absence.

Jeremy Rawson (Shop Manager)

Jeremy is responsible for the shop, and deals with enquiries for all types of ironmongery and general hardware. Through our many suppliers, Jeremy is able to source virtually any product our customers may require. He also helps with timber enquiries and serving customers.
